Soyoung Kim is a Ph.D. student joined the group in Fall 2023 in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University. She earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Seoul.

Her research interests focus on the multi-physics and multi-scale interactions within hydro-ecosystems. By applying principles of physics and mathematics, Soyoung aims to develop innovative solutions to challenges in water, environmental, and energy systems, ultimately contributing to human welfare.
