Yichen Shen is a graduate student in Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University, starting her studies in Spring 2024. She is co-advised by Dr. Chengling Wu. Yichen obtained her bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Nanjing Tech University in 2019 and completed her master’s degree in Environmental Science at the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISSCAS), in 2022.

Her research interests focus on substance flow and interface processes across plants, soil, and the environment. By applying advanced sensors and mathematical modeling, she aims to develop practical solutions for agricultural and environmental challenges.
